Managing Time

I have a little secret.......God really multiplies my time. He has to.......there is no other way I could possibly get everything done and still have time to relax with my husband at night, work-out everyday, cook just about all our meals (for 11 plus people) and usually get a short nap in the afternoon. I believe in tithing and what God says in the Bible about giving Him the best we have. I know you usually hear this about money or things, but I believe it about time too. I have for the last 30 years gotten up, usually pretty early, and had a quiet time with the Lord. Giving Him the first part of my day, just makes the rest of the day go more smooth and organized. I'm not sure how it works, but I know His word is true and what we sow, we will reap. It may not be an hour of prayer, praise, reading the Bible or journaling, but that is OK. Sometimes I only have about 15 minutes, but it is the most precious time of my day. I've trained all my children that quiet time means quiet time and if they are awake then they sit near me and drink their hot chocolate milk and read their Bible books. My oldest is 19 and I taught him this years ago and have been teaching my others kids since. I have other ways God helps me stay organized and manage my time, but this is the most important and I wanted to start this blog putting this first........more on time management later :o)
